Nearly level sandstone plateau with low scrub vegetation; charred stems and regrowth indicate that area was burned about 15 years previously.
Subshrub 50 cm tall. Flexible-stemmed. Calyx green. Corolla white, globose. Fruit white, subglobose, with persistent calyx at apex of fruit.
