Most trees 3-7 m tall growing on windswept ridge. Calyx lobes dimorphic, cream colored tinged with red. Petals, anthers, filaments and style all white. Petals with a sweet taste reminiscent of allspice. Bark grayish, rough, occassionally flaking.
